Troop 410 was first chartered by the Methodist Church in Salt Lake City more than 50 years ago and has been active in the community ever since. Troop 410 originally met at the old Centenary Methodist Church on 7th East near Liberty Park. In 1954, it moved to its current location at Christ United Methodist Church, 2375 East 3300 South in 1954. The Troop has a long and distinguished heritage of providing guidance, learning and enjoyment for its diverse membership through a non-sectarian Scouting program. Troop 410 is well known for its active outdoor program, commitment to community service, and care for the environment. It is highly respected by the Scouting community and is a proud member of the Great Salt Lake Council. Troop 410 is an active organization and as such, relies heavily on the voluntary participation of parents and trained adult leaders for the implementation and continuation of its program for boys.
