Sunday July 20th

It was a wonderful full day. Everyone had a terrific time. Even our bus driver seemed to cheer up a bit from time to time.

While the Scouts seemed tired on the bus ride from Lava to Camp Hunt, they perked right back up as soon as we arrived. Tents for 50+ Scouts and Leaders, chairs for most of us, food, firewood and even an website update all occurred within the first couple of hours.

Late night campfire talk wound down a bit after midnight, but continued in at least one tent (not mine!) until 1:30 am. A friendly time update from Bill Hall and finally quiet, interrupted by LOUD snoring and the occasional passing car on the highway outside camp, reigned.

Personally, I much prefer the late night talking from the older Scouts to the snoring from the even older ones . . .
